Engineering Project Manager

• →Own the NPI process with a view to consistently looking for ways to improve it to enable
  improved adherence to project metrics.
• →Plan, schedule and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• →Co-ordinate internal and external resources.
• →Gather gate evidence and hold gates for projects.
• →Update reports (smartsheets, monthly pack).
• →Manage risks & issues – escalate as required.
• →Keep SMT updated on project tracking (delivery date slips based on MSP).
• →Document lessons learned & publish.
• →Establish and maintain project governance.
• →Attend customer calls and issue minutes.
• →Hold regular internal progress meetings with all departments and keep minutes/actions documented.

• HNC minimum in Engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of experience.
• Project Management qualification advantageous
• Demonstrated experience in managing large scale projects and delivering on time and budget.
• Experience required in an aerospace corporate or manufacturing environment
• Ability to Understand and manage conflicting priorities in order to maximize profitability of the business; develop and implement coherent plans which address these issues.
• Current knowledge of aero engine industry standards and requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivating and able to recognise and introduce improvements
• Exhibit confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well
• Effectively influences actions of others; Accepts feedback from others; Gives appropriate recognition to others
• Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to create documents, reports and briefing
  materials in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft project or other relevant project management software
•  Must have a valid passport
