Responsibilities
~1 min readThis isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. This role exists to help people advance in their journey with Christ in Tulsa, America, and the World. Whether you're leading teams, crafting meaningful experiences, or working behind the scenes, your role at BattleCreek Church makes an eternal impact!
The Hello Team Minister’s primary role is to lead a team of volunteers (Hello Team) who help BattleCreek feel like a welcoming place for people. From the parking lot to the auditorium and every step in between, Hello Team volunteers help each person know BattleCreek is a place they can attend and, even better, where they can belong.
Every day looks different, but here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be up to:
- Lead and inspire with excellence to motivate Hello Team volunteers to build a welcoming place for all people who attend the campus
- Recruit, equip and develop volunteers to the Hello Team based on the spiritual gifts that God has placed on them
- Schedule volunteers for each service to ensure all service day needs are met
- Code for monthly expense reports for campus financial needs
- Other projects or campus needs as assigned to help all people advance in their journey with Christ
The must-haves for this role:
- Education & Experience: We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree (but it is not required) and 2 years of experience in ministry. Having ministry experience in a multi-site environment is an added plus!
Depending on the role, you might find yourself in an office, on stage, out in the community, or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may be required—it’s all part of ministry life!
This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 20 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment, or prepping for events—sometimes even late at night. Don’t worry; we’ll ensure you know what to expect!
Think this sounds like a great fit? Let’s talk! Submit your resume through www.battlecreekchurch.com/careers or email hr@battlecreekchurch.com for more info. We can’t wait to hear from you!
