~1 min readAs a BAYADA Hospice Registered Nurse, you'll be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate, individualized care that helps patients remain comfortable in their homes while supporting their quality of life and dignity.
Responsibilities include:
- →Making home visits to hospice clients within your assigned geographic territory.
- →Providing skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort-focused care.
- →Assessing patients' conditions and communicating changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
- →Implementing and documenting physician orders accurately and promptly.
- →Performing patient assessments and helping coordinate individualized plans of care.
- →Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and their families throughout the hospice journey.
Requirements
~1 min read- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont and New Hampshire.
- At least one year of recent, verifiable clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related area.
- Previous home health and/or hospice experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic computer skills; electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.
- A compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to clinical excellence.
