Technology Intern

• →Assist in maintaining and improving IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
• →Support the implementation and monitoring of information security protocols to protect sensitive data.
• →Participate in system programming projects, including coding, debugging, and testing applications.
• →Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users and internal systems.
• →Collaborate with team members on IT projects, including network configuration and infrastructure upgrades.
• →Conduct research and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools.
• →Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields with at least a Junior level academic standing by the end of Spring 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Basic understanding of Technology concepts, including data, networking, programming, and/or cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++) and operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS).

• Enrolled in a Mississippi based College or University or Mississippi resident.

• Utilize problem-solving skills and be willing to learn new technologies.
• Provide concise verbal communications, sharing ideas, information and communicating messages clearly, accurately and professionally.
• Manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, checking work for errors before submitting.
• Write concise messages, draft simple guides and communicate clearly in written form.
• Listen closely during instructions, paying full attention to the speaker and ask clarifying questions before attempting to solve problems or provide feedback.
