We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of the dining facility at Fort Leonard Wood. This position plays a key role in supervising staff, helping to maintain staff levels, and assisting the Site Manager in overall DFAC performance.

• →Assist in managing day-to-day staffing of dining facility operations
• →Maintain proper inventory levels; assist in ordering, receiving, and storing food and supplies
• →Train new employees and assist with ongoing staff development
• →Support scheduling and timekeeping
• →Assist in resolving operational or personnel issues in a timely, professional manner
• →Fill in for Site Manager during absences and act as a point of contact with DFAC leadership

• High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s or higher preferred
• 2+ years of food service or hospitality supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of military food service regulations is a plus
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet base access requirements
