Minor Ingredients Operator

* Accurately weigh and measure minor ingredients using scales and other measurement tools, adhering to strict tolerances.
* Follow detailed batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ingredient preparation and mixing.
* Maintain accurate inventory records of minor ingredients, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
* Perform quality checks on ingredients and prepared batches, reporting any discrepancies or issues.
* Operate and maintain various equipment used in the weighing and mixing process, including mixers, blenders, and scales.
* Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
* Document all production activities, including batch numbers, lot numbers, and quantities.
* Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
* Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervision.

Job Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with ingredient handling.
* Proven ability to accurately weigh and measure materials.
* Strong attention to detail and precision.
* Ability to read and interpret detailed instructions, formulas, and batch records.
* Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
* Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures.
* Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Forklift experience preferred.
