Senior Director, Strategy Operations

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, analytical, business-savvy, and well-rounded problem solver to support the President of the Pharmacy Automation business in driving strategy, business operations, and execution of key priorities.

As an integral member of the President's leadership team, you will support and lead projects across diverse areas of the business, helping shape fact-based strategic decisions within Pharmacy Automation (~$600M), part of BD's Connected Care segment. Success in this role requires the ability to manage complex cross-functional priorities, synthesize data and information into actionable insights, derive strategic recommendations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior and executive leadership.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated leader with exceptional analytical, facilitation, and communication skills. Working closely with leaders across the global business, you will help drive strategic decision-making, coordinate execution of critical initiatives, and ensure alignment across business unit and regional priorities. The role requires strong collaboration, leadership through influence, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping teams focused on the most important business objectives.

As a trusted advisor to the President, you will help drive organizational effectiveness and operational excellence by coordinating strategic planning activities, supporting executive communications, facilitating leadership team operating rhythms, tracking progress against key priorities, and helping ensure successful execution of the organization's most critical initiatives.

Reporting directly to the President, this role offers broad visibility across the business and a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience supporting a global leadership team while developing deep expertise in general management, business operations, and strategy.

• →Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses across strategy, operations, commercial excellence, product management, and business development to support strategic decision-making and business performance.
• →Lead and coordinate high-priority strategic initiatives across functions, businesses, and regions, leveraging data-driven insights, structured problem solving, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication.
• →Drive the operating rhythm of the President's leadership team, including agenda development, action tracking, meeting facilitation, and follow-through to ensure effective decision-making and execution.
• →Partner with senior leaders to develop annual and quarterly objectives, monitor progress against priorities, and provide visibility into business performance.
• →Lead the development of executive and employee communications, including quarterly business updates, town halls, and leadership presentations that effectively communicate business strategy, priorities, and results.
• →Support global and regional business reviews by providing strategic insights, business analysis, and recommendations to inform key decisions.
• →Coordinate the development of quarterly business reviews, annual strategic plans, and other executive-level planning activities through effective cross-functional collaboration.
• →Proactively identify business opportunities, risks, and emerging trends, providing recommendations that position the business for long-term success.
• →Travel up to 30%.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, marketing, product management, operations, finance, consulting, or related fields (5+ years with an advanced degree).
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong program and project management experience managing complex initiatives and competing priorities

• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, management consulting and/or investment banking desirable
• Experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives
• Experience generating creative new business ideas and strategies
• Outstanding analytical abilities, financial acumen and business judgment
• Experience in financial modeling and ability to critically interpret the results
• Experience with developing strategic business plans
• Experience across multiple business or functional teams.
• Broad practical experience across multiple professional disciplines within the organization, combining theory, past practical experience and the organization’s business practices.
