Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized After-School Site Coordinator to lead the daily operations of our after-school program. The ideal candidate will have experience in program coordination, staff supervision, and working with school-aged children. As a Site Coordinator, you will ensure the program runs smoothly, aligns with our after school program expectations, and meets the needs of students and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
Location: 77011 Houston (south/south east)
Hours: 3:30-6:30pm M-F

- Manage and oversee daily operations of the after-school program, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
- Lead and supervise a team of staff to implement engaging and educational activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, school staff, and community members to foster a positive and collaborative program environment.
- Ensure compliance with all organization and district policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and daily site report
- Collaborate with the site team to implement activities that meet students' academic and social-emotional needs.
- Handle student discipline in accordance with program policies and procedures.
- Manage program materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate resources are available.
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an educational, childcare, or youth development setting.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for working with children
- Part-time hours during after-school program hours, typically Monday-Friday.
- Requires regular standing, walking, and interaction with children.
