Quality and Environment Manager

We’re looking for a collaborative and people-focused Quality & Environment Manager to join our Chelsea site and play a key role in strengthening our quality culture and driving continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, influence across teams, and make a real impact on product quality, food safety, and environmental performance.

Our Chelsea Heights site is in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!

  Lead and continuously improve the site’s Quality Management System to ensure best-practice food safety and compliance

• →

  Drive quality and environmental performance by monitoring KPIs and embedding continuous improvement initiatives

• →

  Liaise with cross-functional teams and suppliers to support strong quality outcomes across manufacturing

• →

  Support audit readiness by leading internal audits and maintaining compliance programs

• →

  Lead investigations into quality issues and work collaboratively to implement sustainable solutions

• Proven experience leading quality and environmental functions in regulated manufacturing (HACCP, GMP, GFSI)

• Builds trusted relationships and influences senior stakeholders

• Confident navigating audits, compliance, and investigations

• Develops teams, lifts standards, and drives sustainable outcomes

• Analytical and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving capability
