Full Time Permanent Position, Monday to Friday Day Shift

Our Tatura site is an icon in the region, well known around the world for its quality dairy products. As well as being the country’s largest producer of cream cheese, it also produces infant formula, nutritional lactoferrin, various milk powders, plus our famous single serve butter.
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Site Services Operator to help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our food manufacturing site. In this role, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day tasks that keep our site and grounds clean, safe, and well-presented. You’ll also contribute to minor maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards
The incumbent is required to be available from Monday to Friday, either 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some overtime expected. There will also be rotating weekend shifts throughout the year.

A focus on safe work practices is required at all times and taking responsibility for reporting safety issues and reducing or removing identified safety hazards.

Complete daily rostered duties including day to day cleaning tasks and daily check, record and sign off on required authorised log sheets and work sheets.

Monitor cleaning stock levels, restock store areas and clean equipment in preparation for the following shift.

Contribute to the maintenance and continual improvement of the site

Be accountable for maintaining a consistently high standard of cleaning and hygiene to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, using street sweeper/hose/pressure washer to maintain the cleanliness of the site.
Safety mindset and high commitment to health & safety practices
Experience in chemical handling (e.g: detergents and sanitisers)
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
A valid forklift license is required.
