Light Vehicle Technician - Residential or FIFO - Expressions of Interest

Fast growing Company and Repco authorized Service Centre in the Port Hedland area. We repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles whilst ensuring exceptional customer service. We take pride in all that we do, we pay well, and expect exceptional performance. 

We are looking for someone who is a team player with solid work ethics and an eye for detail. 

Job tasks include:

- Carry out vehicle diagnosis, repairs and/or maintenance

- Vehicle examinations in line with Department of Transport regulations

- Follow correct procedures when carrying out the repairs

- Responsible for tools and equipment

Skills and experience:

Essential skills and experience:

• Trade qualification
• Minimum 3 years recent experience post apprenticeship
  
• Great communication skills
• Eye for detail
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Perform tasks efficiently and professionally
• Be a team player
• A current drivers license
• Have own tools
• Punctual and reliable

Desirable skills and experience:

• AC ticket would be a huge bonus
• Repairers license is required for inspections
• Electrical knowledge would be beneficial

Employment Options

• This can be a Residential or FIFO position for the right candidate
• Immediate start for the right candidate
• FIFO Position - 2 weeks on/1 week off (Ex Perth), or 3 week on/ 2 weeks off (Ex East state- lifestyle roster) - 12-hour days with ample time for breaks.
• Flights ex Perth and accommodation are supplied with this position.
