Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is growing, and we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as junior level HVAC installers, looking to continue their training in the trades. Please only apply if 1) you have a clean driving record and 2) have experience of at least one year in HVAC field work and/or HVAC school. If you do not have HVAC experience, you must include a cover letter detailing why you are still a good candidate and have applicable trades experience. Applicants who do not include this will not be considered.

Bellows services customers throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area. This position supports our North Bay operations, out of our Novato office, and serves Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the HVAC trade. The HVAC Trainee works closely with experienced technicians and the operations team to support service calls and installation projects while learning the fundamentals of the trade. This role focuses on hands-on training and developing the skills needed to become a successful technician. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with HVAC service calls and installations
• Learn basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
• Help prepare job sites, tools, and materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Support installation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

Requirements

• At least one year experience in HVAC or skilled trades
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good communication skills and professional attitude
• Ability to lift, carry, and work in various physical conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
• Trade school enrollment or completion is a plus, but not required
