Web-to-Print® Assistant Pouch Operator (1st & 2nd Shift) - Plant 5

Belmark is seeking Web-to-Print® Assistant Pouch Operators to be responsible to ensure quality during runs, make machine adjustments when needed and stage materials. • 1st shift hours are from 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
• 2nd shift hours are from 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. (midnight), Monday - Thursday

• $21 - $23 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
• The shift differential for 2nd shift is $1.00 more per hour

• Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Attention to detail and ensure quality attributes are met during the production run.
• Packing pouches per the customer pack configuration.
• Perform quality checks and making machine adjustment as necessary.
• Issue raw materials and final case/pallet count paperwork.
• Staging raw materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Regular attendance is required. May be required to work some overtime.
• Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
• Must be able to use a ruler, calculator and various hand tools.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow both written and oral English communication.
• Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less; identify and distinguish colors; see and identify moving images for color or registration.
• Ability to use hands and feet to operate machines for 100% of work time; stoop, kneel or crouch for 15% of work time, or walk for 10% of work time.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or less 20% of work time; 50 pounds or less 50% of work time; 75 pounds or less 20% of work time.
• May be required to lift up to 100 pounds or more.
