Bartender, Season 2027 - Splendido a Belmond Hotel Portofino

Bar Baratta 16, featuring a mixology concept inspired by the "zero-kilometer" philosophy, celebrates Ligurian tradition and flavors.

For the next season 2027, we are looking for a Bartender to join the team at our Bar Baratta 16!

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.  He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.  

He/She reports to Bar Manager. 

• →Fulfill the Bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to the Belmond policies, high standards and procedures; 
• →Welcome customers entering the bar area and maintain a friendly atmosphere, establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and enquiries; 
• →Plan, organize, and control the operations of a bar; 
• →To monitor stock levels, paying particular attention to use-by-dates on perishable goods, and order replacement deliveries as required; 
• →Supervise the work of bar staff and other bartenders; 
• →Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies; 
• →Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Bar Manager and/or Restaurant Manager; 
• →Brings suggestions for improvement; 
• →Notify Bar Manager or Manager-on-Duty any time a guest is not completely satisfied with their experience.

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences Interact with customers in a professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and equipment.
• Monitor and manage inventory of spirits, beer, wine, and other bar supplies.
• Adhere to all food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless customer experience Be knowledgeable about current drink trends and classic cocktails.
