Breakfast Manager, Season 2027 - Splendido a Belmond Hotel Portofino

For the next season 2027, we are looking for a Breakfast Manager to join the team Splendido!

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.  He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.  

He/She reports to Restaurant Manager. 

• Coordinate daily breakfast service operations. 

• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction. 

• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. 

• Regularly review the buffet quality. 

• Organize and supervise shifts. 

• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity. 

• Estimate future needs for goods, utensils and cleaning products. 

• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. 

• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it. 

• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices. 

• At least 3 years of experience as a Breakfast Manager or Breakfast Supervisor in 5-star luxury hotels. 

• Strong leadership, charisma, and refined communication skills. 

• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff. 

• Familiarity with restaurant management software. 

• Ability to handle complex service situations with composure and tact. 

• Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is highly valued.
