The Director of Supply Chain is an executive leadership role responsible for the end-to-end performance of Benco Dental’s supply chain operations from vendor sourcing and inventory management to equipment supply chain. This leader drives cross-functional strategy that supports five distribution centers across the United States.

The Director of Supply Chain partners closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations to ensure that supply chain capabilities serve as a competitive differentiator in the dental distribution market.

• Strong analytical capabilities; ability to translate data into actionable strategy
• Proven negotiator with experience managing vendor relationships
• Executive-level communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external partners
• Proficiency in ERP systems, demand planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred)
• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, including vendor site visits, sales co-travels and DC visits
• Adaptable, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment

As Benco’s supply chain leader, you’ll own strategy and execution across procurement, inventory and demand planning, equipment coordination, international sourcing, and reverse logistics — leading a multi-site team and partnering with senior leadership to make supply chain a competitive advantage.

• →Define and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy, including SIOP, across all five distribution centers
• →Negotiate pricing, terms, and warranties with key vendors; lead scorecard-driven business reviews and optimize rebates, credits, and returns
• →Optimize inventory positioning and control across consumables, equipment, and private label lines to reduce carrying costs and maintain in-stock targets
• →Ensure import/export compliance and develop international sourcing strategies for private label products
• →Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing supply chain talent while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• →Own the supply chain operating budget; deliver measurable cost savings and report performance metrics to senior leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field required; Master’s/MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or logistics experience, including 5+ years leading multiple functional teams
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, or healthcare/dental supply industries strongly preferred
• Domestic and international supply chain experience preferred
• CPIM (APICS) certification preferred; CSCP a plus
