Responsibilities
~2 min readAs a Painter at Bender Companies, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and condition of the apartment community. You will be responsible for completing painting projects efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance team to prepare apartment homes for new residents, complete touch-ups, and enhance the overall aesthetic of the community.
Core responsibilities include:
- →Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching drywall, repairing minor damage, sanding, and priming
- →Paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets in occupied and vacant units
- →Complete full unit repaints during turnovers (make-readies)
- →Perform touch-ups in common areas and occupied apartments as needed
- →Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
- →Perform additional duties as assigned

This position will require you to work on-site at the property in Steger.
