→Responsible for the effective repair of machine components in the shop, at high levels of quality
→Recondition and repair equipment and components
→Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned
→Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs
→Effect the repairs in a safe and effective manner
→Ensure all repairs complete as assigned and the cosmetic appearance are up to standards
→Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition
→Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs
→Ensure all records are legible and in compliance with established methods
→Report all record keeping daily from the field, even when not returning daily to the company
→Maintain shop tools, equipment and vehicles
→Maintain personal appearance in a professional and neat condition. Wear all personal protective equipment, as required; and urges others to do so.
→All communications with customers and co-workers are conducted in a manner reflecting respect and integrity
→Perform inspections required to determine cause of failure is done following established guidelines and are completed with the cause identified

Strong potential to develop good mechanical skills, good communication skills, and safe work habits
Electric forklift experience a plus
Be able to work independent of direct supervision
Contribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the branch location, specifically with parts personnel and other service technicians
Spanish speaking valued
A technical school or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred, but not required
Valid driver's license; clean MVR

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl
Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
