Nursery Deputy Room Leader for our Pre-school Classroom - Finchley

x26 children & x5 Staff

Full time / 40 hours per week over 5 days, on a weekly rotating shift:

7.30am - 4.30pm / 9.30am - 6.30pm

Nursery open all year round save for Bank Holidays & 2 weeks over Christmas.

Min L3 qualified with at least 1 year recent Day Nursery experience.

Salary £28k+ depending on qualifications / experience.

We are seeking an Nursery Deputy room leader to join the team at this Finchley nursery.

Purpose of the job:

·        Provide safe, High Quality Care and Education for the children aged between 3 - 5 years on a daily basis.

·        To fulfil legal and statutory requirements as stated by the governing body OFSTED, EYFS, Safeguarding, Fire Safety Regulations, Health and Safety Regulations, Local Authority Regulations, Food Safety.

·        To be responsible for the care, welfare, health, safety and security of all children and staff within Macaws room.

·        To supervise and assist all members of staff on a day to day basis.

·        To contribute to and implement the Nursery’s policies and procedures.

·        To liaise with Professional Bodies associated with The Rocking Horse Nursery.

·        To be committed to continuous professional development and promote this within the Nursery.

·        To be a positive role model for staff, parents, and children at all times.

You will be a driven and committed individual with a child centred approach with a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years education or equivalent. You must have excellent written and spoken English and have experience working in a similar role.

They are paying a salary up to £32k for a Level 3 Early Years Nursery Deputy room leader.
