Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. Responsible for managing payroll operations, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll delivery.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience required.
Payroll experience in healthcare and physician compensation calculations and related components preferred.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws preferred.
Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred.
Experience with advanced features and configurations in Workday (such as reporting and integrations) preferred.
Knowledge of union payroll processes preferred.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
Expertise with payroll processing platforms. Background that includes Workday and Qgenda are preferred but not required.
Proficiency in advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, indexes.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and tools.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues quickly and efficiently.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively work with employees and cross-functional teams.
High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
