About the Role
~1 min readBetterment is seeking a resourceful B2B Sr. Marketing Associate to help execute growth strategies for our rapidly growing Betterment at Work business line.
Working closely with the broader Acquisition Marketing and Betterment at Work teams, you will own the day-to-day execution of campaigns and initiatives across email, social, and webinars that build brand awareness, generate leads, and nurture our pipeline of qualified prospects for our sales partners. This role is ideal for a B2B marketing generalist—someone comfortable building a nurture flow, coordinating a webinar, drafting email copy, and moving creative assets through approvals.
This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.
- New York City: $89,000 - $99,500
This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.
You will help run the day-to-day marketing execution engine to generate leads and pipeline for Betterment at Work, working across email, social, webinars, content, partnerships, and events.
- Build, execute, and optimize email campaigns in our marketing automation platform, including audience segmentation and list management
- Develop marketing copy across email, social, and web, spinning up initial drafts for review and ensuring a consistent brand voice
- Manage creative asset development process, coordinating timelines and feedback across creative, compliance, and external partners
- Support content marketing strategy across owned channels, distributing compelling content to grow inbound lead generation and support our enterprise sales team
- Manage webinar execution in terms of logistics, promotion, platform setup, and post-event follow-up and lead handoff
- Circulate regular updates on key reports and campaign performance
- 3+ years of experience in B2B or SaaS marketing with hands-on campaign execution across multiple channels
- Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot and Salesforce experience is a huge plus)
- Working knowledge of B2B channel tactics—email nurture, webinars, partnerships, social, paid social, content marketing, and events
- Strong writing and editing skills; able to independently draft email and social copy for review
- Comfortable managing creative and compliance review workflows, including asset trafficking and approvals
- Strong project management skills and able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders, keep timelines on track, and work independently
- Collaborative team player who excels at building relationships cross-functionally
- Background in fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus

In the interview process, we’ll look to learn more about your skills, experiences, capabilities, and motivators. On average, it takes us around 3-5 weeks to make a hiring decision, depending on your availability and sense of urgency.
