Recovery Assistant, Part-time

Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Recovery Assistant to work in our Administration Building in Rexburg, Idaho. This position works mornings, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday hours as needed, for a total of 25 hours per week. The expected pay is $19.26 per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail, takes appropriate action to make the accounts current.
• Analyzes financial situations of delinquent borrowers and makes recommendations to repossess when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful.
• Maintains accurate files and reports on collection activity.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.

Qualifications

Must have good communication skills and have the ability to listen and understand what is being presented. Must be able to maintain accurate and complete records of all collection and recovery activity. High school or equivalent education and six months of similar or related experience required.

Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Sits more than 6 hours a day. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of local travel as driver and travel by commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Occasionally may need to be outdoors in all types of weather.
