Pest Control Manager - Trainee

Big Time Pest Control is hiring a Pest Control Manager to lead a team of field technicians and help us deliver reliable, high-quality service to our customers. We’re looking for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable coaching people while keeping a busy service operation on track.

This manager works closely with technicians, routing, and customer service. They know what is happening on their team’s routes, step in when plans change, and follow through on customer concerns until they are resolved.

What you’ll do

• Lead, train, and coach pest control technicians through regular check-ins, field visits, and clear performance feedback.
• Monitor daily routes and work with the routing team to address scheduling changes, incomplete work, service follow-ups, and technician capacity.
• Make sure services are completed thoroughly, on time, and according to customer instructions and company standards.
• Investigate customer concerns, communicate professionally, and coordinate prompt solutions that help earn customers’ continued trust.
• Review service notes and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timely follow-up.
• Help technicians troubleshoot pest issues and develop service plans that fit each customer’s needs.

• Conduct field ride-alongs and service quality checks, then provide clear, useful feedback.

• Reinforce safe driving, application practices, vehicle standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify recurring route or service problems and work with the team to improve how we operate.
• Help recruit, onboard, and develop technicians as the company grows.

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years of leadership or management experience, preferably with a field service team.
• Strong customer service skills and experience resolving concerns or complaints.
• The ability to organize competing priorities and make sound decisions during a changing workday.
• A coaching approach that combines support with clear accountability.
• Pest control branch 2 field rep licensing is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong field operations experience.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to meet the position’s driving requirements.
• Ability to meet applicable background, Live Scan, and drug screening requirements.
• Ability to perform the field duties of the position, including light to moderate lifting.
