Senior Global Product Manager - Peptide Synthesis & Purification

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and commercial success of our Peptide Synthesis & Purification portfolio. This is a high-impact global leadership role, combining hands-on product management with broader portfolio oversight across our Small Molecule & Synthetic Therapeutics (SMST) and Scale-Up product ranges within our Drug Discovery & Development (DDD) business.

Working closely with colleagues across Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing and Operations, you'll define product strategy, drive innovation and lead a team of Product Managers to deliver sustainable global growth.

As the global product leader for our Peptide Synthesis & Purification portfolio, you will:

  Develop and execute the global product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle plans.

• →

  Drive commercial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, market share and portfolio optimisation.

• →

  Define compelling product positioning, pricing and value propositions.

• →

  Translate customer insights, Voice of Customer programmes and market intelligence into winning product strategies.

• →

  Identify opportunities for innovation, portfolio expansion and strategic partnerships.

• →

  Lead cross-functional global product launches from concept through commercialisation.

• →

  Partner with R&D to shape future technology development and product innovation.

• →

  Monitor portfolio performance and market trends, driving continuous improvement and informed decisions.

  Build strong relationships with customers, KOLs and strategic partners worldwide.

In addition, you'll provide leadership across the wider SMST and Scale-Up portfolio by:

  Leading and developing Product Managers across multiple product families.

• →

  Aligning product strategies, investment priorities and commercial objectives.

• →

  Coordinating integrated product roadmaps across technologies and customer workflows.

• →

  Representing the portfolio in senior leadership discussions and strategic decision-making.

You'll be an experienced scientific-commercial leader who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical execution.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline (PhD and/or MBA advantageous).

• Significant experience in Product Management, Strategic Marketing or similar commercial roles within life sciences or analytical technologies.

• Strong technical expertise in peptide synthesis, peptide purification, chromatography or related workflows.

• Experience managing global scientific product portfolios throughout the product lifecycle.

• Proven leadership experience, including coaching or developing Product Managers or scientific-commercial teams.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing product performance and investment decisions.

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills within global matrix organisations.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• A collaborative, customer-focused approach with a passion for innovation.
