POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Shutdown Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month contract. The Shutdown Coordinator is responsible for coordinating maintenance programs, electrical and instrumentation systems, calibration activities, and asset management. This role will also support reliability and compliance initiatives, including shutdowns, testing programs, and maintenance planning to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. The incumbent is also responsible and accountable for the execution of the PSC mission, “to maintain the integrity and professionalism of our products and services while enabling steady growth and development”. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the works coordinated within the shutdown period adhere to requirements of the Safe Work System and Quality procedures and/or controls. Create, own, use and maintain plant history and other technical files to assist with shutdown coordination. Prepare or assist in Shutdown Plans in consultation with engineering trade, manufacturing, QA, Project Delivery and other key stakeholders. Coordinate Shutdown Plan activities and ensure Shutdown Plan requirements are well defined and communicated prior to and during shutdown activity execution Coordinate the hand-over of facilities between manufacturing and M&U and facilitate all required shutdown control group meetings in the lead-up and during the shutdown period. Point of contact for all shutdown related activities as per the Facility Shutdown Procedure, and responsible for disseminating relevant communications to shutdown core team to ensure all activities are managed effectively and on time. DEMONSTRATED COMPETENCIES: Quality & Compliance Excellence – Strong understanding of cGMP, GxP principles, quality investigations, and global regulatory expectations. Rational Persuasion –, Active listening, Presents key factors influencing factors, and strategic goals to assist stakeholders in identifying solutions. Agility – Meets objectives by responding to competing and changing priorities and multiple tasks under inflexible timelines. Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Life Science. Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering Experience supporting electrical maintenance, utilities, and industrial infrastructure operations. Knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance programs, and compliance requirements. Familiar with generators, UPS systems, electrical shutdowns, and black start testing. Working knowledge of GMP, GxP, FDA, EMA, TGA, PIC/S, and international regulatory requirements. Strong technical writing and document review skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
