Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Direct and oversee large-scale construction operations and establish policies for the division.
- →Oversee and manage nuclear decommissioning projects, with full accountability for cost, schedule, scope, and overall project performance.
- →Allocate resources, establish and enforce project controls, governance frameworks, and reporting structures to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- →Approve and manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- →Lead contract strategy, review and approve change orders, and negotiate with contractors to optimize project outcomes and control costs.
- →Provide executive-level reporting to senior leadership on project performance, risks, and strategic direction.
- →Oversee the development and execution of Project Execution Plans, ensuring alignment across engineering, construction, and operations teams.
- →Direct project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- →Lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project objectives.
- →Establish risk management frameworks, make final decisions on risk mitigation strategies, and ensure effective issue resolution.
- →Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery systems, processes, and performance metrics.
- →Represent the company as well as develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- →Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
- →Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to project teams and project controls personnel.

- 10+ years of active, relevant and applicable experience in the construction industry
- Experience and ability to use the following:
- Cost Control Systems and Applications
- Planning and scheduling tools
- Risk Assessment and reporting tools
- Document Control Systems
- Experience with nuclear and nuclear decommissioning projects
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Administrative Management, Engineering or a related field.
