Director of Project Controls

• →Direct and oversee large-scale construction operations and establish policies for the division.
• →Oversee and manage nuclear decommissioning projects, with full accountability for cost, schedule, scope, and overall project performance.
• →Allocate resources, establish and enforce project controls, governance frameworks, and reporting structures to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• →Approve and manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• →Lead contract strategy, review and approve change orders, and negotiate with contractors to optimize project outcomes and control costs.
• →Provide executive-level reporting to senior leadership on project performance, risks, and strategic direction.
• →Oversee the development and execution of Project Execution Plans, ensuring alignment across engineering, construction, and operations teams.
• →Direct project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• →Lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project objectives.
• →Establish risk management frameworks, make final decisions on risk mitigation strategies, and ensure effective issue resolution.
• →Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery systems, processes, and performance metrics.
• →Represent the company as well as develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• →Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
• →Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to project teams and project controls personnel.

• 10+ years of active, relevant and applicable experience in the construction industry
• Experience and ability to use the following:
  • Cost Control Systems and Applications
  • Planning and scheduling tools
  • Risk Assessment and reporting tools
  • Document Control Systems
• Experience with nuclear and nuclear decommissioning projects

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Administrative Management, Engineering or a related field.
