Senior Legal Counsel, Capital Markets

• →Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent) from an accredited law school
• →8+ years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally combining a leading law firm or investment bank and an in-house capital markets or corporate legal department.
• →Strong hands-on experience across capital markets and corporate finance transactions, including equity and debt offerings, convertible bonds, project and infrastructure financing, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• →Working knowledge of US securities laws and SEC reporting requirements, and experience advising Nasdaq- or other US-listed issuers, is strongly preferred; familiarity with cross-border and Asian capital markets is a plus.
• →Admission to the Singapore Bar, or another relevant common law jurisdiction (e.g., New York or England and Wales), is preferred.
• →Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to balance legal and regulatory risk against business objectives in time-sensitive transactions.
• →Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• →Strong written and spoken communication skills, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including with bankers, auditors, and external counsel.
• →Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions and deadlines independently.
