This position focuses on C++ ingest processing and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. What will you do Develop C++ code for ingest processing and mission software components. Write C-based micro plugins, develop circuit and packet processing systems, and build streaming data processing functionality. Modify processing parameters and system configurations to resolve problems, and troubleshoot network issues so data is properly formatted, transmitted, and processed at the backend. Responsibilities Develop C++ code for ingest processing and software components. Write C-based micro plugins. Develop circuit and packet processing systems. Write streaming data processing functionality. Modify processing system parameters and update system configurations to resolve problems. Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure data is properly formatted, transmitted to, and processed at the backend. Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 14 years of experience in software engineering, or 18 years of experience in software engineering without a degree. Experience with C++ ingest processing and component development. Experience writing C-based micro plugins. Experience developing circuit and packet processing systems and streaming data processing functionality. Experience modifying processing parameters and system configurations and monitoring and troubleshooting network issues. Linux/Unix command-line skills and shell/Bash scripting. Working knowledge of data and voice communications technologies, network protocols, circuit and packet processing systems, and VoIP processing. Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD. Desired Skills Apache NiFi.
