Grounds Maintenance - Hot Mix Asphalt Plant

Job Summary

BlackRock Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of our hot mix asphalt plant. This position plays a key role in keeping the plant yard, equipment areas, and grounds in top condition to ensure smooth and safe operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety protocols, and is ready to help wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain plant grounds by removing debris, shoveling, greasing and general maintenance.
• Perform basic upkeep such as minor repairs, and organization of tools and materials.
• Assist plant operations team with cleaning and maintaining equipment when needed.
• Monitor the yard for material buildup and address them promptly.
• Support upkeep tasks, including moving materials with hand tools or small equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work in coordination with plant staff to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, construction labor, or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and small equipment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Job Type & Schedule

• Full-time
• 8-12 hour shifts
• Nights & weekends as needed during peak season
  
  

Work Location

• In person at 705 Carmony Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87107
• Relocation before starting work required if outside the area.
