Litigation Legal Assistant - Habitability Department

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Paralegal in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish required.
• Familiarity with California civil litigation procedures, court filings, discovery, and calendaring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and compassionate approach to client communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and other members of the legal team.
• Must be able to work full-time and on-site at our Burbank office.

• Plaintiff-side personal injury or civil litigation experience.
• Experience preparing pleadings and written discovery.
• Experience assisting with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with California Superior Court filing procedures and electronic filing systems.
• Experience handling high-volume litigation caseloads.
• Prior habitability, tenant rights, landlord-tenant, or housing litigation experience is a plus, but not required.
