Bloom is a full-service workplace design consultancy representing Craft Public Relations on their search for two Account Directors to join their team. As Talent Advisors, we will be the liaison between you and Craft Public Relations during this recruitment process. Hi, I’m Ali Azzopardi, a Senior Vice President here at Craft. Over my decade with the company, I’ve watched us scale from five people to a team of nearly 50 incredible humans. And now we’re growing again: we’re looking for two new Account Directors to join our team. Could this be you?

Positioned between Senior Account Manager and Vice President, our Account Directors are hands-on leaders who set the strategic direction, provide senior client counsel and stay closely involved in bringing the work to life.

You'll work closely with senior leadership - one role will report into me, while the second will report into SVP Jordana Wolch.

Leading the development of campaign ideas and taking ownership of the strategic planning and ideation process

Providing strong, hands-on oversight over the execution of those ideas, ensuring that every touchpoint supports the identified strategy

Keeping tabs on the details - time and money! - through the management of workback schedules, status reports and budget trackers

Serving as a role model to teams and the broader agency, and motivating teams to deliver great work - even in the face of roadblocks and challenges

Providing sharp, insightful client counsel and building deep and trusted client relationships

Serving as the people manager for one or two team members, providing ongoing coaching, feedback and support for their growth

You bring significant experience leading public relations or integrated communications programs, ideally in an agency environment

You’re a confident people leader who enjoys coaching others and helping them grow

You have high standards, and you’re always looking for ways to raise the bar

You’re deeply curious - about your job, and about the world around you

You act with empathy and care about supporting your teammates as both people and professionals

You’re a passionate collaborator, on the lookout for ways to work together with your clients and your colleagues to bring amazing things to life

Interviewing at Craft Public Relations includes:

Phone screen with a Talent Advisor from Bloom
Virtual interview with Ali Azzopardi and Jordana Wolch (60 mins)
Complete a short, at-home Craft assignment designed to help us understand how you approach strategy, ideas and client counsel.
In-person interview* with Managing Director, Melissa Retty, and Skylar Gomes, Senior Account Manager (45 mins) followed by a final conversation with Lisa Pasquin, President (15 mins)

Account Director Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000

Craft offers a hybrid work-from-home and in-office model. All employees work from Craft’s office at 50 Carroll Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

This role may require occasional travel within Canada and to the US for meetings and events.
