We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This position will support financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial performance analysis.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with data, understands the story behind the numbers, and can translate financial information into meaningful insights and recommendations for leadership. This role will work closely with Accounting, Operations, and other business leaders to help drive informed financial decisions and improve business performance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and management reports
- →Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and financial reporting tools
- →Assist with the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting updates
- →Partner with department leaders to understand financial performance and provide insights into areas of opportunity and risk
- →Analyze revenue, labor, operating expenses, and other key financial metrics
- →Develop, maintain and analyze budget, forecast, and prior periods and identify key drivers of variances
- →Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support management decision-making
- →Analyze profitability by customer, project, department, or business segment as applicable
- →Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) in PowerBI
- →Assist in monitoring and analyzing working capital, cash flow, and other financial metrics
- →Assist with month-end reporting and provide analytical support to the accounting team
- →Improve and automate recurring financial reporting and analysis processes
- →Maintain organized documentation and support for financial models and reporting
- →Present financial findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner
- →Perform other financial analysis and projects assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance role
- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial concepts
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Must have experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another business intelligence/reporting platform
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify meaningful trends and insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments
Requirements

- Experience in a construction, project-based, or multi-entity environment
- Experience working with large datasets and developing automated reporting solutions

- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Reports To: Finance Manager
- Location: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, Fully In Office (No Remote, No Hybrid) Near Metro Zoo (Coral Reef)
- Compensation: $85,000 yearly, 10% Discretionary Bonus
