Schedule: 10/05/2026 to est. 04/05/2027, 40 hrs/week

Must have: 11+ years related experience; associate degree in drafting or engineering design technology; Civil 3D / MicroStation / OpenPlant

One opening. Employed through employer of record. Background check and drug screen required before start. Where a listed start date has passed, the full assignment term runs from the actual start date.

Black & Veatch's Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) group delivers civil site development for its projects: grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing and underground utilities. This senior technician leads design teams on Advanced Power Generation projects, creating and modifying site development plans.

Establish and communicate design and graphic standards; review project requirements and design inputs.

Ensure deliverables comply with codes and standards; manage drawing control.

Perform design calculations, material quantity takeoffs and estimates.

Review others' deliverables; monitor production for consistency, budget and schedule.

Coordinate with other design groups; may support field activities or plant startup.

Provide technical guidance and training to other technicians.

Associate degree in drafting or an engineering design technology.

Typically 11+ years related work experience.

Advanced skill in Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation and Bentley OpenPlant Modeler.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering design technology.
