This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.We are a team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. As part of a passionate and accomplished team of professionals, you will join a team of Production Control Specialists responsible for coordinating and controlling manufacturing activities for rocket engine production. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of production planning and control. We will establish, maintain and coordinate production schedules with manufacturing and assembly areas. We put a strong emphasis on teamwork, as our Specialist are directly involved with projects and problem-solving, and succeed through active engagement with the team.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinate, maintain, communicate and drive the schedule to ensure on time delivery for service centers and integrated areas.
- →Schedule management throughout the day in order to maintain a dynamic accurate schedule. Clearly communicate the status of each job.
- →Coordinate the schedule, plan, and initial staging of material/kits to all vital areas of production and test.
- →Identify and communicate constraints in the production flow and work with area leads to discuss possible solutions.
- →Updating estimated on-dock dates in scheduling system, ex: assemblies in inventory ready for vehicle install.
Requirements

- Schedule management experience
- Ability to thrive in a high energy, high growth multifaceted environment.
- Experience using and managing ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Costpoint, etc.)
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management
- Familiarity with MS Office software including MS Project
- Experience in a both development and production environments
- Aerospace or automotive experience is a plus

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
