As part of a hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will develop strategic procurement solutions and complete day to day tactical purchasing functions for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of supply chain operations, driving organizational and policy change to enhance Blue Origin’s bottom-line. 

Our SCA III you will be responsible for managing a variety of contract terms and agreements including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Long-term Agreements (LTAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Purchase Orders (POs). You will manage Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quote (RFQs), conduct price analyses in support of supplier proposals, and lead formal negotiations of all types. This role partners with functional teams and businesses across the Blue Origin Enterprise.

Key candidate attributes to facilitate success in this role include influencing, facilitation, organization, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.  We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise of propellant commodities, pressure vessels, cryogenic systems components, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
