Aland Family Dentistry in Reno, NV, is seeking an experienced, dynamic Practice Manager to oversee daily operations, direct our non-provider team, and guide our practice toward continued excellence!

- Dr. Mathew Stewart: A born-and-raised Reno native whose family has been shaping the local dental community for decades—his father practiced dentistry in Reno for 32 years, and his mother trained local assistants. Graduating in 2015, Dr. Stewart brings a modern, highly communicative approach to our practice.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Operational Leadership: Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations, maximizing chair utilization and maintaining smooth patient scheduling flow.
- →Team Management: Direct, mentor, and motivate frontline receptionists and clinical staff, handling performance reviews and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- →Financial Revenue Cycle: Manage dental insurance verification, claims processing, billing workflows, ledger auditing, and daily over-the-counter collections.
- →Schedule & Metric Supervision: Track practice KPIs, manage staff schedules, oversee morning huddles, and handle patient relations with empathy and confidence.
- →Compliance Champion: Ensure the clinic remains fully compliant with all state, federal, and safety regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, and ADA guidelines.
Requirements
~1 min read- Management Experience: 3 or more years of dental or healthcare practice management experience (required).
- Education: Associate's Degree (AA) or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or related experience.
- Technical Mastery: Strong proficiency with dental practice management software (experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft is a major plus).
- Financial & Insurance Acumen: Deep understanding of dental billing, insurance aging reports, accounts receivable (AR), ledger auditing, and patient treatment coordination.
- Leadership Traits: Proven ability to lead with empathy, manage staff schedules, monitor team performance, and resolve patient concerns constructively.
- Safety & Compliance: This position is safety-sensitive; successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required.
