  • Management Experience: Minimum of 1- 3 years of management experience, dental practice management or medical office management experience is a huge plus.
  • Education: Associate’s Degree (AA) or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Software Skills: Strong proficiency with computers, dental practice management software (experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft is a major plus).
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of dental billing, ledger auditing, insurance aging reports, accounts receivable (AR), and patient treatment coordination.
  • Leadership Style: A proven track record of managing staff schedules, monitoring team KPIs, and resolving patient relations with empathy and confidence.
  • Compliance: Strong grasp of industry regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, and ADA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Direct, mentor, and motivate frontline receptionists and clinical staff, handling performance reviews and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Financial Revenue Cycle: Manage dental insurance verification, claims processing, billing workflows, and daily over-the-counter collections.
  • Multi-Site Coordination: Travel locally between designated office sites to audit practice standards, streamline systems, and unify team communication.
  • Compliance Champion: Ensure the clinics remain fully compliant with all state, federal, and safety regulations.
