Responsibilities

  • Work with walk-in customers to resolve technology problems
  • Receive incoming phone calls and assist callers with a specified list of issues
  • Assist with tier-one technology issues in the classroom
  • Troubleshoot new issues as well as recall specific solutions to recurring issues
  • Assist faculty, staff, and students in the loaning and returning of equipment
  • Assist customers with hard drive backups and data transfer
  • Other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • Experience with Windows 11
  • Experience with Apple OS is a plus
  • Experience with mobile computing platforms including iOS and Android
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Aptitude for answering questions and walking customers through troubleshooting and solutions over the phone
  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly to new technological challenges
