During your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while solving real-world problems that emphasize safety and quality.
  • Tour Boeing’s state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facilities, connecting hands-on experience with your academic learning.
  • Interact with company leaders to understand strategic priorities and Boeing’s future direction — cultivating trust through transparent communication.
  • Attend networking events, development seminars, and executive engagements designed to strengthen your professional network and support your growth as a valued team member.
  • Gain invaluable experience that builds a foundation of ownership and innovation for your career.

  • Be currently enrolled in a college or university with expected graduation on or after August 2027.
  • Availability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027
  • Meet Export Control compliance as a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). 

  • Currently majoring in one of following core engineering/applied sciences disciplines (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Civil (especially Structural emphasis or interest), Chemical, Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mathematics, Physics, Software, Structural, Quality, Industrial Engineering Technical, Industrial Management, Operations Research, Engineering Mechanics, and Systems).
  • Strong academic performance (GPA 3.0 or above).
  • Previous internships, work experience, or involvement in student or civic organizations demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
  • Passion for aerospace industry and eagerness to contribute to Boeing’s mission.
  • Junior or Senior class standing.
  • Willingness to relocate and work onsite at designated locations.
  • Quality Engineering Skills: Quality Management Principles, Leadership and Team Facilitation, Effective Communication & Presentation, Problem Identification and Barrier Analysis, Quality Planning Techniques, Quality Documentation and Reporting, Quality Standards Compliance, Cost of Quality Analysis,  Quality Planning and Process Mapping, Continuous Improvement Techniques, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Project Planning and Scheduling, Corrective and Preventive Actions  Execution, Data Collection, Sampling Method and Statistical Analysis, Statistical Process Control Implementation, Process Capability and Performance Measurement, Design and Analysis of Experiments, Risk Identification, Assessment, and Mitigation
  • Supplier Quality Skills: Root Cause Corrective Action, Problem Solving, Quality, Lean, Aerospace, Data Analytics, Project Management, Supply Chain, Git Source Control, Database / SQL Query and Programming, Python, Data Visualization, Basic Tableau, PowerBI, R Language, ReactJS/Javascript, Systems Mapping, Simulations, Growth Strategy, Customer and Supplier Relationship Management
