Responsibilities

- →Lead capability integration team (software, hardware, test) to release capabilities to the customer
- →Create and scope mission features for your team to decompose from system level requirements to high level software requirements
- →Analyze and translate customer requirements into system, hardware and software designs
- →Define logical and software interfaces to ensure compatibility with the platform architecture and ensure proper interoperability with other subsystems
- →Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for hardware, software, and performance model development. Utilizes MBSE for requirements development, interfaces definition, and traceability
- →Tests and validates System functionality and performance to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements
- →Present design change recommendations to upper leadership and the customer
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Experience with MBSE modeling tools
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience leading a team of engineers to deliver mission systems capabilities
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time as needed
- Experience designing functionality and requirements for mission processing subsystems
