Provides objective evidence of results

Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance

Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, checks special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. Provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.

Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.

Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming products.
Requirements
~1 min read3+ years’ related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator.
3+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Previous aerospace inspection experience
Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
