The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Lead Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO; El Segundo, CA; Everett WA, Tukwila; WA, Mesa AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; or Philadelphia, PA.


Responsibilities

  • →Leads and manages Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) on multiple programs
  • →Supports Program Start Up and Earned Value Management (EVM) execution across multiple programs
  • →Provides Program Management Best Practice (PMBP) guidance and support across multiple programs
  • →Supports Rate Change Readiness (RCR) and Work Movement across multiple programs, working directly with Program Management teams and key functional stakeholders
  • →Supports implementation of Integrated Product Teams (IPT) model across multiple programs
  • →Facilitates and ensures integration of project plans, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
  • →Coordinates commitments and communications with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic initiatives
  • →Engages (e.g. workshops, forums, training, etc.) the PM community on program management requirements, responsibilities, and best practices
  • →Represents senior management, as required, to communicate functional policy, strategy and direction
  • →Liaises with Enterprise, Industry, and Academic “Program Management” thought leaders to import best practices and shape our future as a function

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required
  • Experience leading or managing process improvement projects
  • Experience building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • Experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track “performance to plan” for a business/organization
  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices
  • Experience with the Enterprise Standard Gated Process
  • 10+ years of experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project closeout


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with the ESGP Online Tool
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification (current or in work)

Summary pay range: Oklahoma City, OK - $146,200 - $197,800

Mesa, AZ and Berkley, MO - $157,250 - $212,750

Everett, WA; Tukwila, WA, Philadelphia, PA; and

EI Segundo, CA - $168,300 - 227,700
