Responsibilities

→Act as the connector between design engineering, manufacturing, and supplier organizations
→Develop manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures, Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOMs), and rework instructions for all manufacturing items within your ownership
→Review electromechanical assembly and PCBA designs for manufacturability and production scalability
→Identify improvement opportunities and execute projects to improve product quality, reduce lead time, decrease labor hours, maintain safe operations, etc.
→Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and drive implementation of corrective actions for non-conformances
→Work within cross-functional teams including design, quality engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain to bring products from new product introduction (NPI) to full-scale production

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering degree
1+ year of experience in application of production engineering principles to analyze and implement manufacturing processes and methods
1+ year of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings
Experience assisting with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for non-conformances

2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering or similar field in Aerospace, Automotive, or Commercial industries
Good understanding of IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610, and IPC-7711C/7721C
Experience with NASA-STD-8739.1
Familiarity with IPC-2221
Thorough understanding of root cause analysis and related analytical methodology (Five Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa Analysis, 8D, etc.)
Understands and utilizes theories, principles, and practices of engineering and project management methods
Experience with Solidworks or similar CAD software
Background in Lean Manufacturing/Process Improvement
Experience in PCB/PCBA Manufacturing
Experience with Altium Designer
IPC-A-600 & IPC-A-610 Certification
Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary pay range for

Level 2: $90,950 - $123,050

Level 3: $111,350 - $150,650
