Responsibilities

→Defines requirements for propulsion systems within a model-based engineering environment
→Defines, coordinates and controls the functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle
→Configures or designs propulsion sub-systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance specifications
→Contributes to or leads a range of testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation activities aimed at predicting and validating system performance
→Defines and performs verification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components
→Review, processing and approval of engine and component qualification documentation
→Assist with propulsion ground and flight test planning
→Propulsion vendor management and coordination

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

(Level 4) 9+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

Level 4: $136,850 - $185,150

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
