Responsibilities

  • →Manages employees performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • →Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
  • →Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • →Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.
  • →Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • →Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility.
  • →Manages, develops and motivates employees.
  • →Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • →Ability to understand the big picture and inter-relationships of functions
  • →Ability to effectively communicate current state technical performance to plans for executive consumption



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • 1+ year of experience performing schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses and providing potential solutions to management
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Communication, both written and verbal, with a comfort in public speaking and frequent interactions with executive-level management

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field
  • Prior Quality Management Experience
  • Direct experience performing in quality engineering, manufacturing operations, project management, system engineering, or change management
  • Solid working knowledge of Quality Tools (APQP, Early Quality Involvement, RCCA) 
  • Experience building internal and external customer relationships

Position may require travel up to 10-15% of the time.

Summary pay range: $123,250 - $166,750

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
