Supply Chain Specialist (Supply Chain Management)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Data Analyst to optimise our end-to-end Supply Chain network. You will analyse large data sets related to inventory levels, shipping routes, warehouse performance. Your work will turn raw numbers into actionable strategies that reduce waste, optimise performance against contractual deliverables, and keep our operation on budget.

This role is eligible for hybrid working. ( minimum 3 days in office.)

Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and examine historical and real-time data on inventory turnover, logistics, and supplier performance.
• Dashboard Creation: Build, maintain, and update recurring performance reports and interactive dashboards for supply chain teams.
• Cost & Efficiency Optimisation: Identify operational bottlenecks, shipping delays, and cost increases, then propose data-backed solutions.
• Demand & Inventory Planning: Assist with forecasting demand and aligning material requirements to align with budgetary thresholds. Support quarterly business reviews using SI&OP.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with purchasing, asset managers, warehousing, and transportation teams to track KPIs and implement new tracking
• Innovation: Utilize AI-assisted analytics and predictive modelling tools to spot recurring patterns and anomalies in supply data.

Basic qualifications/Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience: 1 to 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, logistics, or supply chain planning.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and business intelligence / visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• System Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management systems.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical data insights clearly to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
• The ability to acquire a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency
