Tooling Mechanic

• →Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling, such as large and small engineering test fixtures, fabrication equipment, etc. in collaboration with engineering design teams
• →Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components
  (Examples: Marvel saw, mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)
• →Other responsibilities to include: Blueprint Reading, 3D Model Interrogation, Machining, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking

• 3+ years’ of experience working in a tool fabrication environment.
• High school graduate or GED

• Experience with Aerospace tool fabrication
• Certificate or Degree or Technical Trade School Certificate (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion)
• 1+ years’ of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery
• Experience with Software (MasterCAM, NX, Verisurf, etc.)
• Experience using manual inspection and CPU driven equipment such Laser Trackers

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
