Program, setup, and machine parts on 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, and live tooling lathes

Develop, prepare and maintain all documentation related to the design, fabrication, and usage of various tooling items and their respective associated calibration equipment

Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components
(Examples: Bridgeport mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.) - →
Other responsibilities may include: Equipment Maintenance & Calibration, CNC machining, Welding, Composites Modification, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking, and much more
Requirements
~1 min read3+ years of experience working in a machining environment
High school graduate or GED
5+ years experience with CAD/CAM Software (MasterCAM)
5+ years of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery (Examples: 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, live tooling lathes)
Technical trade school certificate/degree (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion)

- This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 837) Collective Bargaining Agreement
- The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.
- New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of (120) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.
