The Director, Revenue Growth Programs is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic initiatives that accelerate revenue growth and close gaps between company revenue targets and expected performance. This role serves as the bridge between revenue planning and execution, leading cross-functional programs that drive customer retention, expansion, pricing optimization, and operational improvements. 

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, analytical rigor, program management expertise, and the ability to influence leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Operations. This individual will own the development and implementation of revenue growth initiatives while providing visibility into program performance and business outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities

Revenue Growth Strategy & Execution: 

  • Identify revenue opportunities and develop action plans to close gaps between forecasted performance and revenue targets. 
  • Lead revenue growth programs from concept through execution, ensuring measurable business impact. 
  • Partner with functional leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and implementation plans. 
  • Monitor program effectiveness and adjust strategies as business conditions evolve. 
  • Serve as a catalyst for driving revenue performance when business-as-usual (BAU) plans are insufficient to achieve targets. 

Cross-Functional Program Leadership:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Customer Success, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Finance. 
  • Establish program governance, milestones, accountability structures, and success metrics. 
  • Facilitate executive-level decision-making by providing clear recommendations and business cases. 
  • Drive organizational alignment and execution against key revenue priorities. 

Pricing & Commercial Optimization: 

  • Develop and coordinate pricing, packaging, and commercial programs to improve revenue performance. 
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate disruptive pricing opportunities and market-based strategies. 
  • Analyze customer behavior, retention trends, and revenue leakage to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Support customer save and retention initiatives focused on reducing churn and maximizing customer lifetime value. 

Revenue Analytics & Insights:

  • Build reporting frameworks, dashboards, and scorecards to measure program progress and business impact. 
  • Develop actionable insights through financial, operational, and customer data analysis. 
  • Provide ongoing performance reporting to executive leadership. 
  • Create visibility into program outcomes, risks, and opportunities. 

Portfolio & Investment Management:

  • Prioritize growth initiatives based on expected revenue impact, execution complexity, and return on investment. 
  • Develop resource requirements and investment recommendations to support growth programs. 
  • Track program benefits realization and ensure accountability for results. 
  • Support annual planning and long-range forecasting through identification of future growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Revenue Management, Strategy, Consulting, Finance, Program Management, or related disciplines. 
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional business initiatives from strategy through execution. 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into actionable business recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change. 
  • Experience building executive-level reporting and performance dashboards. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SaaS, technology, subscription-based, or recurring revenue businesses. 
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, customer retention, and revenue growth frameworks. 
  • Experience managing large-scale transformation or growth initiatives. 
  • MBA or advanced business degree.
