Millwork Warehouse Associate

BPI is seeking a Millwork Warehouse Associate to join our millwork department. This hands-on position focuses on preparing doors and other millwork products for delivery. You will package products using cardboard, protective wrap, and banding; place packaged products on racks; and use a forklift to load them safely onto trucks. The role also assists with picking, pulling, and staging products as needed.

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• →Package doors and other millwork products using cardboard, protective wrap, and banding to help prevent damage during transportation.
• →Place packaged products securely on racks for staging and loading.
• →Operate a forklift to load products onto delivery trucks.
• →Pick, pull, and stage products as needed to support warehouse operations.
• →Use scanning systems to track inventory and shipments.
• →Complete daily forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
• →Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• →Assist with inventory checks, cycle counts, stock replenishment, and other warehouse duties.
• →Cross-train in other warehouse functions to support the team as needed.

Required

• Ability to complete BPI's in-house forklift training and certification.
• Ability to learn and use scanning systems for inventory and shipment tracking.
• Strong attention to safety, product handling, and packaging quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment.
• Willingness to follow PPE, forklift, and warehouse safety procedures.
• Comfort working in varying weather and warehouse conditions.

Preferred

• Previous warehouse, millwork, packaging, shipping, or forklift experience.
• Experience handling doors, building materials, or other products that require careful packaging.

• Ability to work at a steady pace and frequently lift 30-40 pounds, with occasional lifts of up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical activities associated with packaging, staging, and loading millwork products.

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this role, candidates must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and physical-function testing.
